\nAbout the Artist:
\nJasmine Canaviri is an interdisciplin ary artist whose practice engages with the love and labour that goes into textiles\, ceramics\, and the handmade as a way of self-healing and connec ting to her community. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art s at York University (2022)\, where she was a recipient of a Canada Gradua te Scholarship. Currently\, she is a Resident Artist at the Living Arts Ce ntre and has completed an OAC Craft Projects grant in textile creations. J asmine&rsquo\;s passion for the handmade arts shines through in her dedica tion to teaching and sharing her skills with others.
