AnnMarie Henry\, Christine Malcolm\, and K eith Moore make up the team of researchers and producers who created Profi les in Black Miami. \; This project seeks to tell the story of those o f the African diaspora who built Miami\, from the mid-19th century to the present day\, through a series of documentaries.

\nThe \;Miami Pioneers& nbsp\;is Dade County's legacy historical organization\, originally founded in 1936 by prominent settlers and business leaders who arrived in Miami i n the pioneer era before the year 1900. \;The \;Natives of Dade&nb sp\;was incorporated in 1986 by a group of local history enthusiasts born in Dade County. \;The groups merged on July 8\, 2002.

They oversee the Helen Muir Florida Collection\, 16mm Film Collection\, Cuban Collection o f Rare Books &\; Ephemera\, genealogy\, Vasari Project\, and rare &\ ; antiquarian books from as early as the 17th century. The Division's prim ary goal is to provide the public with the contents of the vault at their request. Its collections include rare books\, original manuscripts\, over 18\,000 photographs\, prints\, artifacts\, audiovisual resources\, and ele ctronic media.
