Stop by the library to enjoy afterschool a ctivities. Themed activities are both educational and a great way to conne ct with peers. This week\, create and put together your own character desi gn using Perler beads! \;

Perler beads are small\, plastic bea ds that can be arranged on a special pegboard to form a design. The beads are then melted together using wax paper and an iron. \;Participants w ill develop their physical literacy skills by practicing fine motor moveme nts with the placement of beads. They will also develop their colour liter acy skills as they select colours to complete projects and differentiate b etween more than one shade of the same colour.
