  at the Luecht Auditorium at McHenry County College.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;Copies 
 of&nbsp\;<em>Eden Undone</em>\, <em>Where You End</em>\, and <em>The Ghost
 s of Eden Park</em> will be available for purchase and signing at the even
 t courtesy of Read Between the Lynes bookstore of Woodstock. Registration 
 is required for this free author event.</p>\n<p>Abbott Kahler\, formerly w
 riting as Karen Abbott\, is the&nbsp\;New York Times&nbsp\;bestselling aut
 hor of<em>&nbsp\;Sin in the Second City</em>\;&nbsp\;<em>American Rose</em
 >\;&nbsp\;<em>Liar\, Temptress\, Soldier\, Spy</em>\;&nbsp\;<em>The Ghosts
  of Eden Park\; Where You End and Eden Undone</em>. She is also the host o
 f&nbsp\;<em>Remus: The Mad Bootleg King</em>\, a podcast about legendary J
 azz Age bootlegger George Remus. A native of Philadelphia\, she lives in N
 ew York City and in Greenport\, New York.</p>\n<p>This author event is par
 t of the <strong>McHenry County Libraries - Let's All Read Together</stron
 g> community reading program. County residents are encouraged to come toge
 ther in a shared reading experience.&nbsp\; Kahler's recent book\, <em>Ede
 n Undone</em>&nbsp\;is an incredible true story of murder\, romance\, and 
 a fateful&nbsp\;search for utopia in the Gal&aacute\;pagos Islands.&nbsp\;
  Copies of the books are available to borrow from your local library.&nbsp
 \; Libraries will host discussions of the books\, in advance of the author
  event.&nbsp\; Algonquin's book discussion of <em>Eden Undone</em> will be
  at Scorched Earth Brewing Company on Wednesday\, November 6th at 7:00 p.m
