 950&rsquo\;s Ontario\, eight-year-old Saul Indian Horse is torn from his O
 jibway family and committed to one of the notorious Catholic Residential S
 chools. In this oppressive environment\, Saul is denied the freedom to spe
 ak his language or embrace his Indigenous heritage while he witnesses horr
 endous abuse at the hands of the very people entrusted with his care. Desp
 ite this\, Saul finds salvation in the unlikeliest of places and favourite
  winter pastime -- hockey. Fascinated by the game\, he secretly teaches hi
 mself to play\, developing a unique and rare skill. He seems to see the ga
 me in a way no other player can.</p>\n<p>His talent leads him away from th
 e misery of the school\, eventually leading him to the Pros. But the ghost
 s of Saul&rsquo\;s past are always present\, and threaten to derail his pr
 omising career and future. Forced to confront his painful past\, Saul draw
 s on the spirit of his ancestors and the understanding of his friends to b
 egin the process of healing.</p>\n<p>This film is rated 14A&nbsp\;and has
