 he Pullman Palace Car Company.&nbsp\;Historian Andrew Bullen\, resident of
  Pullman\, Illinois\, has written extensively about George M. Pullman. Amo
 ng his many accomplishments\, Mr. Bullen has&nbsp\;undertaken projects for
  the Pullman House History Project and the Historic Pullman Foundation in 
 Chicago.</p>\n<p>Join Pullman historian and resident Andrew Bullen as he s
 hares five "big" stories of Pullman &ndash\; George Pullman and his family
 \, the Company and its products\, the town of Pullman\, the people of Pull
 man\, and labor and race issues. This presentation will weave these storie
 s together to describe the fascinating history and encouraging&nbsp\;futur
 e of this Chicago neighborhood and national monument\, showing that the st

 ttps://www.andrewbullen.us/">Andrew Bullen</a> (<a href="https://www.andre
 wbullen.us/">http://www.andrewbullen.us/</a>)&nbsp\;has an AB from the Uni
 versity of Chicago (Philosophy) and an MS-LIS from the University of Illin
 ois at Urbana-Champaign. He was employed as the Information Technology Coo
 rdinator for the Illinois State Library\, but retired from that position i
 n 2023. A Pullman resident and historian\, he has written extensively abou
 t Pullman. He has been responsible for the development of a Pullman histor
 y website at&nbsp\;http://www.pullman-museum.org\,&nbsp\;including the Pul
 lman House History Project\, a demographic database of 47\,000 Pullman res
 idents from 1883-1950. He has helped digitize some <a href="http://www.ida
 illinois.org/digital/collection/pshs/search/">Pullman archives online</a> 
 (<a href="http://www.idaillinois.org/digital/collection/pshs/search/">http
 ://www.idaillinois.org/digital/collection/pshs/search/</a>) and is current
 ly working with the Historic Pullman Foundation to organize and update the
 ir archives. He has worked with ways to take images and metadata in digita
 l asset management systems and weave them into comprehensive narratives\,
