 h exemplars of library civic data intermediary work by engaging with the w
 ork of host sites\;<br />Discover critical dimensions of data work\, inclu
 ding power\, social justice\, and responsible data practices to mitigate h
 arms\;<br />Help improve civic data educational materials for a library au
 dience.<br />The Institute is designed around several hands-on activities 
 that will help participants get a better handle on their own civic data ec
 osystems\, design local roles\, and learn from peers from across the regio
 n.</p>\n<p>Through the support of the IMLS grant\, participants are eligib
 le to receive an honorarium to offset travel expenses. The honorarium will
  be disbursed to individuals. Applicants based in South Bend&nbsp\;are enc
 ouraged to apply to the workshop but will not be eligible for the&nbsp\;ho
