 22\, 2024.<br />The sale will be held at a new location this year at Bamco
 : 440 Elmira Road North\, Guelph.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday September 19 is 
 the&nbsp\;<strong>Early Bird Evening</strong>\, which requires $10 admissi
 on.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>September 20 to 22 is&nbsp\;<strong>Free Admission.&n
 bsp\;</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who are the Friends of the Guelph P
 ublic Library?</strong><br />- They are an arms-length group of community 
 volunteers who believe that the Guelph Public Library is a necessary and v
 ital community institution.<br />- They support the goals of the Library.<
 br />- They volunteer to make a great library even better.<br />- They pro
 mote the Library in the community through special programs\, fundraising a
 nd advocacy.<br /><br />Their main fundraiser is the annual book sale.&nbs
 p\;To date the book sale has raised $1 million to assist the library with 
 current programming and to be available for use when a new Central library
