 year-old magazine and newspaper ads to see how advertisers stretched\, twi
 sted\, and manipulated the truth to sell their products. Are we as gullibl
 e and susceptible to propaganda today as the public was during WWII? Come

 ng>About the Presenter:</strong> Dan Rose has taught English for over 20 y
 ears to elementary\, secondary\, and college students in the U.S. and Scot
 land\, as well as lifelong learning courses to adults at FGCU (Florida Gul
 f Coast University) and for colleges\, libraries\, and community groups th
 roughout NJ. He has been an Editor at Silver Burdett Publishing and a Trai
 ner/Technical Writer at AT&amp\;T. Mr. Rose has an M.Ed. in English and an
  MS in Project Management. His poetry and fiction have appeared in Alaska 
 Quarterly\, Lips\, Little Patuxent Review\, and Perspectives. A writer\, e
 ditor\, and educator\, Dan Rose teaches and writes about various subjects.
