 trong>&nbsp\;The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) needs your help in 
 preventing lead poisoning in children.</p>\n<p>This class is for painters\
 , renovation and repair contractors\, building code officials\, regulators
 \, residents\, parents\, landlords\, staff working with contractors. Also 
 &hellip\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Youth Build trainees or apprentice programs\, pro
 fit\, or non-profit groups</li>\n<li>Renovators\, painters\, window instal
 lers\, housing maintenance staff\, electricians\, HVAC specialists\, plumb
 ers\, floor finishers\, as well as landlords who perform any of these task
 s</li>\n<li>Any worker who removes windows or disrupts more than six squar
 e feet of paint in pre-1978 homes\, schools\, or daycare centers. Even if 
 structures are vacant\, workers must be in compliance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>
 <strong>Requirements:</strong>&nbsp\;Work or live in the area\, at least 1
 8 years of age\, and available all day. Must understand and read English a
 nd have a state-issued photo ID to show proof of residence for EPA. You wi
 ll be photographed&mdash\;a requirement for your Certificate after passing
  the exam.</em></p>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Why? It is the l
 aw&mdash\;without training&nbsp\;you could face fines up to $37\,500 per d
 ay.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to lead dust can cause irreversible b
