 rong>&nbsp\;covers definitions and examples\, and the science behind our v
 ulnerability to falsehoods</p>\n<p><strong>Session Two</strong>&nbsp\;intr
 oduces "prebunking\," an evidence-based technique for innoculating ourselv
 es from disinformation and helping others to do the same. Features a local
  reporter as guest speaker &amp\; tips for checking facts and sources</p>\
 n<p>In <strong>Session Three</strong>\, participants practice listening an
 d "perspective taking" skills in conversing with others about topics of th
 eir choice</p>\n<p>Registration is requested\, as is participation in all 
 three sessions as they build upon each other. All lived experiences and vi
 ewpoints are welcome!</p>\n<p>Truth in Common is a nonpartisan educational
  nonprofit that offers community-based media/information literacy workshop
 s in the greater Washington DC metro area\, and beyond. Its mission is to 
 restore fact-based decision-making and respectful discourse in the United 
 States.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The program will take place in the Multi-Purpose Ro
