 st Biography:</strong></p>\n<p>Nicole Combeau is a multi-disciplinary arti
 st working predominantly with the mediums of photography\, family archives
  and book arts. As an educator\, she focuses on creating spaces for partic
 ipants to explore\, create and get to know themselves through the artistic
  process. Nicole received her BFA in Photography and Video from the School
  of Visual Arts in 2016\, and completed graduate level training in Express
 ive Arts and Somatics at Tamalpa Institute in 2021.</p>\n<p><strong>About 
 the Vasari Project:</strong></p>\n<p>The Vasari Project is a library colle
 ction at Main Library dedicated to documenting\, collecting\, and preservi
 ng Miami-Dade County's art history from 1945 to the present. It is a livin
 g archive that grows through contributions from artists\, art professional
 s\, exhibition spaces\, galleries\, institutions\, and private&nbsp\;donor
 s.</p>\n<p>The Vasari Project is a resource for ongoing research\, scholar
 ship\, publications\, artists' projects\, exhibitions\, and events. The ar
 chive collects documentation rather than original works of art composed pr
 imarily of printed matter: correspondence\, press clippings\, photographs\
 , posters\, books\, exhibition catalogs\, artists' files\, oral histories\
 , and other ephemeral&nbsp\;materials.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Division 
 of Special Collections &amp\; Archives:</strong></p>\n<p>Miami-Dade Public
  Library System&rsquo\;s Division of Special Collections &amp\; Archives i
 s located at the Main Library and holds rare and irreplaceable historical 
 materials for the benefit of the public and scholarly community. They over
 see the Helen Muir Florida Collection\, 16mm Film Collection\, Cuban Colle
 ction of Rare Books &amp\; Ephemera\, Genealogy Collection\, Vasari Projec
 t archive\, and Rare &amp\; Antiquarian books from as early as the 17th&nb
 sp\;century. The Division aims to provide the public with the contents of 
 these collections at their request\, which include books\, original manusc
 ripts\, over 18\,000 photographs\, prints\, artifacts\, audiovisual resour
