 zpatrick is the author of the novel&nbsp\;<em>Only the Lover Sings</em>. B
 orn in New Orleans\, he studied philosophy at the University of Dallas\, a
 nd he holds an MA in philosophy from Holy Apostles College and an MPhil in
  creative writing from Trinity College Dublin. His translation of the&nbsp
 \;<em>Divine Comedy</em>&nbsp\;was published in 2021 for the 700th anniver
 sary of Dante Alighieri&rsquo\;s death. His poetry and essays have appeare
 d in places like&nbsp\;<em>Dappled Things\,&nbsp\;New Oxford Review</em>\,
  and&nbsp\;<em>Ocean State Review</em>. He is the editor of&nbsp\;Joie de 
 Vivre\, a journal of art\, culture\, and letters for South Louisiana\, and
  he teaches English at Jesuit High School in New Orleans.</p>\n<p><em>In p
