 current tobacco crisis among youth\, reaching as young as elementary-aged 
 students. This presentation with Jason McCoy will address the science behi
 nd vaping\, nicotine addiction\, and how we can help youth avoid Big Tobac
 co&rsquo\;s targeted marketing.</p>\n<p>Jason McCoy is the Tobacco Prevent
 ion Coordinator for Clay County Public Health in Moorhead\, Minnesota.&nbs
 p\; He received his Master of Public Health from North Dakota State Univer
 sity. Jason has been working in substance prevention for nine years\, buil
 ding coalitions\, raising awareness\, and passing policies reducing tobacc
 o&rsquo\;s harm. He has led efforts to pass 32 tobacco and electronic ciga
 rette prevention policies\, the latest being two local ordinances to end f
 lavored tobacco sales.&nbsp\; He is currently building Positive Community 
 Norms &ndash\; working upstream to address Hopes &amp\; Concerns in the DG
 F school system.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In 2022\, Jason opened Verity Presents\, a
  platform to provide presentations and training regarding tobacco control\
 , emphasizing vape prevention. He is also working on the first of a series
  of novels designed to offer speculative fiction related to substance prev
