 rong></p>\n<p>Judy has been a Hampton Roads resident since 1990. She recei
 ved her undergraduate degree from Clarke College in Dubuque\, IA and an MS
 W from West Virginia University. She worked 10 years as a child welfare ca
 se worker before joining Allstate Insurance as a claims adjuster. Being th
 e caregiver for her sister who died from lung cancer in 2004 gave her the 
 desire to learn more about the death process and what could be done to mak
 e it more compassionate. Judy is a lead volunteer with Compassion &amp\; C
 hoices\, a nonprofit organization that works to educate\, provide resource
 s for end-of-life planning and advocate for expanded options at the end of
  life. The goal of Compassion &amp\; Choices is that everyone receives the
  end-of-life care that reflects their values\, priorities\, and beliefs. A
 nd most importantly\, their wishes for a good death.</p>\n<p><img src="htt
