Lisa Oliver\, Funeral Director\, Dignity Memorial
\nLisa Oliver graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Okla homa where she entered with a full scholarship for baton twirling and surp rised many when she chose a degree in Mortuary Science. She has been a lic ensed funeral director for more than 30 years. She began her career when w omen were commonly denied positions as funeral directors\, so she opened h er own funeral home in Stillwater\, Oklahoma. In 2005 she moved to Texas t o care for her mother and took a position with Service Corporation Interna tional.
\nIn 2001\, Lisa oversaw the memorial for eight members of t he OSU Cowboys coaching staff and basketball team after they died in an ai rplane crash. The service was held in a stadium with thousands of attendee s. With the same care and attention to detail\, she has directed intimate services for thousands of families.
\nLisa combines a deep knowledge of the industry with a unique sensitivity to cultural practices and perso nal preferences. She now specializes in helping people put their wishes in place in advance\, to reduce stress for families and assure that the fina l plan is the right one for the deceased and those who loved them. \;
