Sensory Tummy Time is a space for babies t o interact with others\, deepen their understanding of the world around th em\, and develop fine motor &\; cognitive functioning skills (sight\, s ound\, touch) all while spending beneficial time on their tummies to promo te healthy development. Bringing your own blanket is encouraged.
\nI n the first part of the series\, parental figures and babies will be playi ng with colourful sensory boards made up of oil &\; water. In the conti nuing weeks babies will enjoy finger-painting sensory boards\, pompoms &am p\; hair gel sensory boards\, and playing with beach balls while focusing on rolling\, all as we listen to on-theme stories!
\nFor children ag es 0 to 12 months with a caregiver.
\nThis program is part of a seri es. There are 4 sessions taking place on Thursdays: September 19\, 26\, Oc tober 3\, 10.
\nEarly Learning Programs for young children at WPL ar e based on literacy research and include tips and information for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child.
