 \n<p>The entrance for this program will be at 303 N. Laura St. Street park
 ing around the Main Library is free on Saturdays\, and parking in the Libr
 ary Garage at 33 W. Duval St. is available for a fee.</p>\n<p>Born in Wash
 ington\, DC\, and raised in Maryland\, <a href="https://jkpl.ent.sirsi.net
 /client/en_US/default/search/results?qu=author%3D%22jason+reynolds%22&amp\
 ;te=">Jason Reynolds</a> first found inspiration in rap and began writing 
 poetry when he was nine years old. He went on to publish several poetry co
 llections before publishing his first novel\, When I Was the Greatest\, wh
 ich won the Corretta Scott King/John Steptoe Award for New Talent. He has 
 since written numerous award-winning novels\, including <em>All American B
 oys</em>\, the Track series\, <em>Patina\, Sunny\, For Everyone\, Miles Mo
 rales-Spiderman</em>\, and <em>As Brave As You</em>\, which won the Kirkus
  Prize\, an NAACP Image Award\, and the Schneider Family Book Award. He is
  also the author of <em>Long Way Down</em>\, a novel in verse which was na
 med a Newberry Honor book\, a Printz Honor Book\, and best young adult wor
 k by the Mystery Writers of America&rsquo\;s Edgar Awards.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>
 This Teen Lit Chat is presented as part of Jax Book Fest 2024.</p>\n<p>Did

 n<p>Registration is strongly encouraged for this event\, and must be compl
 eted 24 hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN are required
  for registration. If you do not have a card\, click&nbsp\;<a href="https:

  one.</p>\n<p>PLEASE NOTE:</p>\n<p>1. Seating for the program will begin a
 t 10:30am.</p>\n<p>2. The maximum capacity of this venue is 380. Registere
 d attendees will be seated first come\, first serve. Bring your library ca
 rd (physical or on the JaxLibrary app) for faster check-in.</p>\n<p>3. Wai
 tlisted attendees and walk-ins will be seated if seats are available. Ther
 e may be a short wait as registered customers are seated.</p>\n<p>4. All r
 egistered seats will be forfeited at 11:25am and made available to waitlis
 ted and walk-in attendees. Registered attendees arriving after this time w
 ill be seated if seats are available.</p>\n<p>5. An overflow room will be 
 available for attendees over the 380 limit.</p>\n<p>6. A limited number of
  books will be available for sale on site from <a href="https://www.sanmar
