DESCRIPTION:The Palos Verdes Library District invites local artists\, both
  professionals and amateurs\, to participate in its Annual Community Art S
 how. \n\nPieces may include media forms such as photography\, painting\, c
 ollage\, and sculpture\, and artists of all backgrounds and experience lev

 r 2 - 27.</p>\n<p>Entry Fees:&nbsp\;$10 per entry. Participants may submit
  up to 2 entries.</p>\n<p>Students Grades 9-12: $5 per entry. Participants
  may submit up to 2 entries.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>All applicants may pay by ch
 eck or credit card in the 2nd floor administration office at the Peninsula
  Center Library\, Monday - Friday\, 10am-5pm. Online applicants may also p
 ay online by credit card. Make checks payable to: Palos Verdes Library Dis
 trict</p>\n<p>Participants must be in 9th grade or at least 14 years old b
 y November 1\, 2024.</p>\n<p>Awards:&nbsp\;Award categories listed will ea
 ch receive a $100 prize:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best in Show&nbsp\;</li>\n<
 li>Best in Highschool</li>\n<li>Works on Paper</li>\n<li>Paintings</li>\n<
 li>Photography&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>3D works</li>\n<li>People&rsquo\;s Choice<
 /li>\n</ul>\n<p>Awardees are recommended by an outside juror. All awards e
 xcept for &ldquo\;People&rsquo\;s Choice&rdquo\; will be announced at the 
 Community Art Show Reception at the Peninsula Center Library on Friday\, N
