  a teen volunteer "reading buddy\," who will support building reading conf
 idence. Children and buddies will select and read books together\, and com
 plete fun literacy-based activities.</p>\n<p>The goal of reading buddies i
 s to inspire a love of reading\, through encouragement\, engagement\, and 
 motivation. While we hope children improve their reading skills through th
 is program\, our reading buddies do not teach reading and do not act as tu
 tors.</p>\n<p>Skills Learned: Communication\, Collaboration\, Creativity\,
  Information Literacy\, Flexibility\, Social Skills</p>\n<p><strong>This p
 rogram is unregistered. Tickets are required\, limited\, and vary by branc
 h. Tickets will be distributed 15min prior to program start.&nbsp\;</stron
