This introductory\, in-person class will c over how to use the Cricut Maker 3\, an electronic die-cutting machine\, t o create an iron-on decal using heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and how to apply that decal to a cloth tote bag using the Cricut Easy Press. Participants will also learn the basics of Cricut Design Space\, the software used to c reate endlessly customizable designs. No experience necessary\, all materi als provided.
\nEveryone is welcome to visit the Leonardtown Library Makerspace during open hours to use the Cricut to create whatever you can imagine! Customers need to have their own Cricut Design Space online acco unt and bring their own material\, but we have all the equipment and tools you'll need! \nNote for minor s: Teenagers are welcome in our Makerspace classes! Customers aged 14+ can use the Makerspace without an adult accompanying them but must have a wai ver on file signed by their legal guardian. Customers under 14 must be acc ompanied by an adult while in the Makerspace and have a waiver on file sig ned by their legal guardian. Waivers are available in the Makerspace and a re needed for minors to participation in this class. \;
