This introductory\, in-person class will c over how to use the Cricut Maker 3\, an electronic die-cutting machine\, t o make clean and precise cuts on paper to create your own cards and envelo pes for you to take home. Participants will also learn the basics of Cricu t Design Space\, the software used to create endlessly customizable design s. No experience necessary\, all materials provided.
\nEveryone is w elcome to visit the Leonardtown Library Makerspace during open hours to us e the Cricut to create whatever you can imagine! Customers need to have th eir own Cricut Design Space online account and bring their own material\, but we have all the equipment and tools you'll need! \nNote for minors: Teenagers are welcome in our Mak erspace classes! Customers aged 14+ can use the Makerspace without an adul t accompanying them but must have a waiver on file signed by their legal g uardian. Customers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult while in the M akerspace and have a waiver on file signed by their legal guardian. Waiver s are available in the Makerspace and are needed for minors to participati on in this class. \;
