  the 27th annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival. Audiences in over&nbsp\;50
 0&nbsp\;cities spanning&nbsp\;6&nbsp\;continents unite for one week&nbsp\;
 to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from aroun
 d the world. Attendees will view the films before voting for their choice 
 for best film and best actor at the conclusion of the program. <strong>Ple
 ase note that some or all of the films may contain adult content and langu

 trong>The library will host four screenings and <em>each showing is the sa
 me</em>. The films are all shown with subtitles. The room will open approx
 imately 15 minutes before showtime. There is a ten minute intermission hal
 fway through the films!&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>The Friday night showing i
 s a special after-hours screening that will take place while the rest of t
 he library is closed. Restrooms and water fountains will be available but 
 the rest of the library will be inaccessible\, (no books can be checked ou
 t during this time\, no computer usage\, etc.).</p>\n<p>Registration is re
 quired and walk-ins will be welcome as long as there is space. This is an
