 ired naturalist from Monroe County Park and Recreation. She is an active m
 ember of the Indiana Audubon Society and Sassafras Audubon Society and has
  led bird hikes for the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival\, Sycamore Land Tru
 st\, and other groups.&nbsp\;</p>\n<h2>&nbsp\;Tips to Prepare:</h2>\n<ul>\
 n<li>Dress for the&nbsp\;weather.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Bring bug spray and sun
 screen if needed. Likewise\, pants are recommended for bug protection!&nbs
 p\;</li>\n<li>Bring your own binoculars for a closer look\, or we will hav
 e quality optics available to borrow at the start of the event.</li>\n<li>
 Consider downloading Merlin and eBird prior to the event to record and tra
 ck the birds we&nbsp\;find!&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Consider bringing a walking s
 tick or trekking poles for balance.</li>\n<li>Bring a reusable water bottl
 e to stay hydrated\; water for refill will be available upon request.</li>
