 rved as the Coordinator of Recruitment and Community Relations at Prince G
 eorge&rsquo\;s Community College for over fifteen years. During her tenure
 \, she championed the cause of underrepresented student populations\, forg
 ed valuable community partnerships\, and broadened recruitment opportuniti
 es for Hispanic/Latino residents. Notably\, she advocated for inclusive la
 nguage in the college's application process and spearheaded initiatives to
  eliminate out-of-state tuition for undocumented County residents and DACA
  recipients.</p>\n<p>Samantha's passion for serving the Hispanic/Latino co
 mmunity and other underrepresented groups in Prince George&rsquo\;s County
  is evident in her words: "I am genuinely excited to take on the role of L
 atino Affairs Liaison. My dedication to this community has driven me throu
 ghout my career\, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to leverage my 
 experience and leadership for the betterment of my community."</p>\n<p>Sam
 antha Howard was born in San Juan\, Puerto Rico\, and has been a resident 
 of Prince George's County since 1989. She earned her General Studies Assoc
 iate of Arts in Communication/Speech from Prince George&rsquo\;s Community
  College and continued her education at the University of Maryland Global 
 Campus\, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. S
 amantha has received numerous accolades\, including Mentor of the Year\, t
 he Student Services Cracker Jack Award\, and the Envision Success Star dur
 ing her time at PGCC.</p>\n<p>In her leisure time\, Samantha enjoys travel
 ing with her husband and four children\, as well as attending cultural eve
 nts and the theatre. Her commitment to community and her rich professional
  background makes her an invaluable asset to Prince George's County and it
