 aging series with artists and cultural historians Tony and Aziza West. Wha
 t sounds and movements are you drawn to and where do they come from? Tony 
 and Aziza West will lead us through discovering different sounds and movem
 ents of cultural identity\, exploring how they interact and communicate wi
 th each other\, and showcasing how we can explore global traditions and cu
 ltural storytelling through music and movement.</p>\n<p>This program is an
  8-week sequential series designed for ages 50+. Attendees will gain the m
 ost out of this series by attending all (or most) of the sessions. The las
 t session on <strong>Thursday\, October 24</strong> will be a culminating 
 event to showcase the music and movement explored throughout the series. A
 ll programs will be held at the Bexley Public Library in the auditorium. S

 rong></p>\n<p>Baba&nbsp\;<strong>Tony West</strong>\, "Keeper of Tradition
 \," becomes the Spirit of the Drums\, and <strong>Aziza West</strong> repr
 esents the Spirit of Dance\, educating as well as entertaining in a histor
 ic manner. Their journey in community building and influencing began some 
 40 years ago when a passion for learning and sharing the values of African
  culture formed as "Tony West and the Imani Dancers." They are regarded as
  historians of the African influence in the City of Columbus and one of Co
 lumbus' Living Legend recipients. Tony and Aziza were honored through thei
 r pictorial placement on Columbus' Long Street Cultural Wall.</p>\n<p><em>
