In this 2 hour virtual workshop\, Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant Jenna Goldin will cover topics such as: business structure\, self-employment taxes\, income and expense categorie s\, recordkeeping\, quarterly taxes\, and more. Speaker: Jenna Goldin (she/her) has been preparing taxes for small businesses and individuals since 2010. She co-owned and operated Math LLC from 2012-2 020\, the same year she launched Shift Accounting LLC. Jenna's work in tax preparation was born of the intention to bring a social justice lens to a ccounting. She found that the more she discussed money with clients\, frie nds and associates\, the more that the system exposed itself as a tool to perpetuate oppression and inequality. Her mission is to address the shame caused by the current capitalist system in order to empower those it inten ds to subjugate.
