Co-hosts Nicole Jackson and Steve Ammidown will be joined by author\, provost of Black Romance University and friend of the show Nicole Falls to talk about discovering Black romance in the l ibrary\, as well as what it&rsquo\;s like growing up as a Black romance re ader in the Midwest.

\nSteve Ammidown \;is an a rchivist by training\, and a historian of the romance genre almost by acci dent. \; He runs romancehistory.com and can be found on Instagram as R omance Historian and BlueSky as (mostly) himself. \;
\nD r. Nicole Jackson has a PhD in African American and African Diasp ora history. She&rsquo\;s a professor by day who writes erotica\, erotic r omance\, women&rsquo\;s fiction\, and historical fiction in her spare time . She writes racially diverse and often queer stories that show love and t he world in all its beauty and colors. \;
