This workshop will discuss everything from blocking and choreography to scene length and syntax and also consider re ader expectations for certain romance sub-genres. It will also help you to \; learn how to gauge your personal spicy-scene comfort zone. While a ll Romance-Con programs are intended for adults\, please be aware that thi s program will discuss details of romance writing that are meant strictly for adults 18 years and older.

\nABOUT T HE PRESENTER \;
\nMary Morris \;has worked w ith the written word for more than two decades as a former reporter\, ghos twriter\, copywriter\, line/copy editor\, and community college English pr ofessor. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Southern Illinois Unive rsity&mdash\;Carbondale and currently teaches in Southern New Hampshire Un iversity&rsquo\;s online creative-writing MFA program\, specializing in ro mance writing\, as well as serving as vice president and director of progr ams for Chicago-North Romance Writers. Mary&rsquo\;s fiction\, nonfiction\ , and poetry have appeared in various literary magazines\, and under the p en name Phoebe Walker\, she is the co-author of the urban-fantasy novel MI RROR WITCH and the postapocalyptic-romance novel DEAD WEIGHT.
