 esent a new piece for clarinet and flute which plays with the unique space
  of the library atrium. Poetry will be worked into the instrumental sound

  1993) is a composer\, researcher\, and classical guitarist living in Salt
  Lake City\, Utah. Her music has been performed and commissioned by ensemb
 les such as the Runnin' Fl'UTES'\, Salty Cricket Composers Collective\, an
 d PANTS (Wind Quintet). Currently\, she serves as the executive director o
 f the <a href="http://www.louismoreauinstitute.org/">Louis Moreau Institut
 e for New Music Performance</a> and is working on her PhD in music composi
 tion at the University of Chicago. <br /><br /></td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td sty

 khrtabatabaie</a></h4>\n<br />Bridging acoustic and electronic sound world
 s\, Fakhrtabatabaie&rsquo\;s new composition for electric guitar\, violin\
 , and live electronics uses beat frequencies (formed by the micromanipulat
 ion of specific musical pitches) as a key structural element.<br /><br /><
 /td>\n<td style="width: 637.417px\;">Tabatabaie&rsquo\;s artistic and scho
 larly works are interwoven. Thanks to his different backgrounds\, ranging 
 from music composition to engineering\, and his exploration of music psych
 ology\, he has reached an interdisciplinary approach between science and a
 rt. Currently\, he is a composition Ph.D. student and a graduate teaching 
 assistant teaching music theory and music technology courses at the Univer
 sity of Utah. He has also studied at Tehran University of Art and Azad Uni
 versity and taught at the Iran University of Applied Science. <br /><br />
