\nSylvia McNicoll is an internationally acclaimed author of over 40 novels for young audiences ar ound the world. She has taught at Sheridan College and given writing works hops across Canada\, Colombia\, and South Korea. In 2022 she earned a Quee n&rsquo\;s Diamond Jubilee Civic Hero medal for her work in co-editing Wri ting the Rollercoaster\, Stories of Riding out the Pandemic. McNicoll&rsqu o\;s latest work Blue to the Sky stars an allergic-to-everything 12 year-o ld who believes reciting her Faceless Food poem on the top of the CN Tower will cure her of her fear of public speaking.
