 \n<p>About the author\, <strong>Isha M. Renta</strong>:&nbsp\;A native of 
 Ponce\, Puerto Rico\, Isha Renta is passionate about nature\, cultures\, a
 nd science. Fascinated by hurricanes as a girl\, she pursued a degree in m
 eteorology in Washington\, DC\, and has worked in the field since. Beyond 
 her scientific career\, Isha founded Semilla Cultural\, a non-profit dedic
 ated to Puerto Rican Bomba\, and has published her first children's book\,
  "Sofia and Her Bomba Drum."</p>\n<p>Raised amidst the natural beauty of P
 uerto Rico\, Isha's deep connection to her heritage and culture led her to
  become a practitioner of Bomba\, an Afro-Puerto Rican musical tradition. 
 Since 2007\, she has studied and taught Bomba\, sharing its rich history a
 nd practices through her non-profit organization. In addition to her profe
 ssional and cultural pursuits\, Isha is a mother of two and enjoys family
