Confident Beginner Someone who can sew straight and curved seams while keeping a consi stent seam allowance\, can thread a standard machine and wind a bobbin\, h as a basic understanding of different fabric types and has completed sever al projects.
Intermediate Someone who is comfortable with working and threading sewi ng machines\, sewing patterns with markings and notations\, has an underst anding of fabric types and interfacing\, and has experience with using a v ariety of tools\, notions\, and presser feet.
Advanced Someone who is comfortable wi th working and threading both sewing machines and sergers\, sewing pattern s with markings and notations\, has an understanding of both woven and kni t fabric types and interfacing\, and has experience using a wide variety o f tools\, notions\, and presser feet.
