 Lights&lt\;/em&gt\; from Nine Lights Press\, and his first book\, &lt\;em&
 gt\;Songs and Sonnets&lt\;/em&gt\; from Rainy Day Women Press\, was favora
 bly reviewed in the San Francisco Chronicle. &lt\;em&gt\;Beat Poetry&lt\;/
 em&gt\;\, a study of the San Francisco Renaissance\, was put out by Beatdo
 m Books. Three book-length poems have been published: &lt\;em&gt\;Paul Bun
 yan&lt\;/em&gt\; by Smokestack Books\, &lt\;em&gt\;Wyatt Earp&lt\;/em&gt\;
  by Alternating Current Press\, and &lt\;em&gt\;Amelia Earhart&lt\;/em&gt\
 ; by Finishing Line Press\, with strong reviews in Zyzzyva. These texts we
 re collected\, with seven others\, as an epic\, &lt\;em&gt\;American Cycle
 &lt\;/em&gt\;\, published by Running Wild Press. &lt\;em&gt\;The Book of M
 erlin&lt\;/em&gt\;\, a translation\, is out from Livingston Press\, and &l
 t\;em&gt\;Song to the Siren&lt\;/em&gt\; is forthcoming from Halbaffe Pres
 s. His work has been commended by Jonah Raskin\, Jack Hirschman\, David Me
 ltzer\, Tom Clark\, Ann Charters\, Paul Wilner\, David Young\, and U.S. Po
