DESCRIPTION:Meet &quot\;Molly&quot\; the Harris Hawk and learn about falco
nry.\nThis is an in-person program. All ages welcome! Family friendly even
t.\nJoin us as local Sisters falconer\, Hank Minor\, presents an engaging
and informative look at the art and practice of falconry. After a brief hi
story of the sport and the types of raptors\, quarry\, equipment\, and fac
ilities employed\, Hank will bring out the star of the show - his female H
arris hawk and hunting partner\, &quot\;Molly&quot\; - to share stories of
hunting with these magnificent birds of prey. Ample time will be allowed
for questions from the audience\, and photographs are encouraged.\nHank is
a licensed Master Falconer\, having actively flown hawks on game for the
past 15 years. He is a member of the Oregon Falconers Association\, and is
a past member and President of the New York State Falconry Association. H
ank has trained and flown several types of raptors over the years and has
hunted his birds in states across the country. He considers his ability to
practice falconry a privilege\, and looks at each outing with his hawks a
s an opportunity to learn and to improve his art.\n*cr*.\nhttps://dpl.libn
