Registration is required.\nLearn how to make a fiber-based seascape "\;painting."\; Anastasia shar es her unique fiber-based collage technique that will have you creating la yered and visually stunning seascapes. Discover how to use sheer and semi- transparent materials to visually mix colors and create depth within your composition. Materials will be provided\, but you are encouraged to bring in your own scraps to incorporate into your art (think a piece of clothing that'\;s unraveling\, your favorite candy wrapper\, buttons\, lace\, r ibbons\, etc.). Bring along a reference photo or painting you would like t o work from. Anastasia will also have some images on hand to use.\nAn exam ple of Zielinski�s fiber art is attached below. \nScissors will be avail able\, but participants are welcome to bring their own pair.\nAnastasia Zi elinski is a multidisciplinary artist and arts educator. Her practice cent ers around painting\, fiber-based collage\, and installation art. She rece ived her BFA with a minor in art history from Pratt institute (Brooklyn\, NY 2005). Ms. Zielinski has shown her work nationally and internationally\ , creating site-specific installations for INSCAPE arts\, Shunpike�s Sto refront Seattle\, Spaceworks Tacoma\, and CLAVO. Recent residencies includ e Casa L� and eeeee\, both located in Mexico City. She is featured in is sue #40 of CREATE! Magazine. Anastasia is one of the 2023 recipients of th e Jerry Goldstein Foundation award.
