\nFrank Zafiro writes gri tty crime fiction from both sides of the badge. Frank is a retired police officer\, having retired as a captain after a twenty-year career in Spokan e\, Washington. Of his more than fifty novels\, almost half are police pro cedurals\, including seventeen in his award-winning River City series. He currently resides in Redmond\, Oregon.
