X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Multidisciplinary artist Saaret E. Yoseph
blends genre and form to explore identity\, art and memory across the Afri
can diaspora. Her visual "docupoem" JOURNEY(S): addis to dc combines oral
history\, animation\, archival imagery and original poetry to examine the
complex meaning of "home." Inspired by poet Ntozake Shange's innovative ch
oreopoem&nbsp\;for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rain
bow is enuf\, Yoseph's landmark project honors the migration experiences o
f Black transnational women. Following the screening of JOURNEY(S)\, Yosep
h will moderate a Q&amp\;A with fellow artists and collaborators\, as they
reflect on the project themes and its connection to Yaa Gyasi's&nbsp\;Hom
egoing.</p>\n<p><strong>Registration is recommended. Seating is not guaran
