In partnership with the University of Arka nsas\, Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS) is an international opportunity for students in grades seventh and eighth to engage with mathematics\, strengthen their problem-solving skills\, and m eet with other students excited about mathematics.

We will be meet ing weekly to discuss general problem-solving strategies and to work on pr oblems from competitions in previous years. These free meetings start on W ednesday\, October 16 and will continue through Wednesday\, March 12. Five competitions will take place approximately once a month. \; \;

Meetings will follow Fayetteville Public School and Fayetteville Pub lic Library calendars. \;
This event is free and open to students in grades 7-8\, and registration is required.
