hniques and concepts\, helping participants build a strong foundation or r
efine existing abilities. Materials are provided\, but you're welcome to b
ring your own supplies.</p>\n<p>No need for prior experience&mdash\;just c
 ome ready to sketch.</p>\n<p><strong>About the artist:</strong><br />Laura
 &nbsp\;Ramirez&nbsp\;is a local Fayetteville artist and&nbsp\;designer\, o
riginally from the Dominican Republic. Her studio Pattern Etch allows her
to create and explore the world around her. The medium usually varies from
charcoal to acrylic to watercolors\, with the sole purpose of giving each
pattern the exploration it deserves. The paintings come from an ongoing s
tudy of the built environment and nature. As a trained architect her work
is\, for the most part\, structured and geometrical. She considers her wor
k to be based on &ldquo\;place&rdquo\;\, not a physical space\, but the pl
ace created by experiences\, experimentation and studies of her surroundin
gs whether that is the sand at the beach\, the mountains\, details on a bu
ilding or the woods.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>All abilities are welcome. For disabil
 ity accommodations\, call 479.856.7050 or email&nbsp\;<a href="mailto:cent
