 ered participants will receive meet up instructions.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>India 
 Ink is a traditional medium that has been used by artists since around 300
 0 BC. In this workshop we will explore the medium to produce emotional mon
 ochromatic paintings. We will learn how to mix a few values creating vario
 us shades of black and grey. Using a sumi brush\, we will practice brush s
 trokes\, and explore techniques like wax resist\, wet on wet\, and salt\, 
 to see how they react to our ink washes. We will utilize all these methods
  to craft a painting of spooky textured trees.</p>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Z
 ielinski</strong> is a multidisciplinary artist and arts educator. Her pra
 ctice centers around painting\, fiber-based collage\, and installation art
 . She received her BFA with a minor in art history from Pratt institute (B
 rooklyn\, NY 2005). Ms. Zielinski has shown her work nationally and intern
 ationally\, creating site-specific installations for INSCAPE arts\, Shunpi
 ke&rsquo\;s Storefront Seattle\, Spaceworks Tacoma\, and CLAVO. Recent res
 idencies include Casa L&uuml\; and eeeee\, both located in Mexico City. Sh
 e is featured in issue #40 of CREATE! Magazine. Anastasia is one of the 20
 23 recipients of the Jerry Goldstein Foundation award. Ms. Zielinski curre
