 sp\;teach how to read.</strong>&nbsp\;It is meant to introduce kids to som
 e awesome books for emerging readers\, get them excited about books and re
 ading\, and to help them develop social skills through interacting with th
 eir peers.&nbsp\;<strong>Registration is required and is limited to childr
 en in Kindergarten\, 1st and 2nd grades.</strong>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>T
 his is an independent learning experience.&nbsp\; Parents and caregivers w
 ill not be present in the program room but must remain in the library buil
 ding during the program.&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>Copies of the book will b
 e available at the program. You do not need to read the book before the pr
 ogram. Our first book will be&nbsp\;<em>See the Cat: Three Stories About a
  Dog</em>&nbsp\;by David LaRochelle\, illustrated by Mike Wohnoutka.&nbsp\
