 gital world as an artistic space. Virtual reality headsets immerse you in 
 experiences happening in all directions\, including painting programs that
  encourage you to create life-size art. Augmented reality (AR) uses existi
 ng technology such as cell phones to layer visual information onto real-li
 fe places.</p>\n<p>To create this exhibit the gallery used photographs of 
 images of art in the library&rsquo\;s collection and made them into short\
 , animated clips. Each animation is a creative re-imagining of original wo
 rks. Artists and artists&rsquo\; estates approved use of imagery for the e
 xhibit knowing the animation altered photographs of the original artworks.
  Animations were made by library staff and contracted graphic designers.</
