 parking area of the center.</li>\n<li>Program staff will be available at t
 he arrival location to help guide you to the program area.</li>\n<li>To ma
 ximize your experience\, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure 
 we may begin on time.</li>\n<li>We will start with brief introductions and

  personal background in a military family\, coupled with her familial mili
 tary legacy\, likely played a significant role in shaping her interest and
  passion for learning more about the experiences of individuals of African
  descent who served in the Armed Forces. This interest led her to found th
 e Unsung Heroes Living History Project\, a nonprofit organization dedicate
 d to preserving and sharing the stories of veterans of African descent. Th
 rough the project\, Dr. Daniels and her team conduct interviews with veter
 ans and their families\, creating an invaluable archive of firsthand accou
 nts that shed light on the often overlooked contributions and sacrifices o
 f these individuals. In addition to interviews\, the organization also col
 lects photographs and memorabilia\, capturing the essence of these men and
  women's lives before\, during\, and after their military service. Dr. Dan
 iels's dedication to the Unsung Heroes Living History Project is an embodi
 ment of her commitment to promoting awareness and understanding of the rol
 es played by African Americans in the military. By preserving their storie
 s and experiences\, she aims to ensure that their contributions are recogn
 ized and appreciated\, even as they may have been historically marginalize
 d or underrepresented. Aside from her work with the Unsung Heroes Living H
 istory Project\, Dr. Daniels is an Adjunct Ethnic Studies Professor at Sac
 ramento City College. In this capacity\, she likely shares her knowledge a
