 crosoft Excel! You do not need to attend all of the classes\, but you are 
 strongly encouraged to attend Part 1 if you are new to Excel.</p>\n<p><str
 ong>October 7: Microsoft Excel Part 1 &ndash\; Introduction to Excel<br />
 </strong>Learn the basics of this popular software program designed for st
 oring\, organizing and manipulating data. This class will discuss the part
 s of a spreadsheet\, including columns\, rows and cells. Participants will
  create a basic spreadsheet during class. You must be able to use a mouse 
 and be familiar with basic computer concepts such as opening\, closing\, a
 nd&nbsp\;re-sizing&nbsp\;windows before taking this&nbsp\;class</p>\n<p><s
 trong>October 14: Microsoft Excel Part 2 &ndash\; Introduction to Formulas
  &amp\; Functions<br /></strong>Learn what formulas do and how you can mak
 e your own.&nbsp\; This class will also discuss the various functions with
 in Microsoft Excel and how they can be used to your benefit.&nbsp\; Partic
 ipants should have a basic understanding of Excel prior to taking this cla
 ss.</p>\n<p><strong>October 21: Microsoft Excel Part 3 &ndash\; Manipulati
 on of Worksheets\, Graphs &amp\; Charts<br /></strong>Using what has been 
 learned in the previous Introductions classes\, participants will learn ho
 w to get all of their data into Excel so it is organized and then make gra
 phs or charts from that data. This is an advanced level class so participa
 nts should an understanding of the fundamentals of Excel prior to attendin
 g.</p>\n<p><strong>October 28: Microsoft Excel Part 4 &ndash\; Security &a
 mp\; Sharing of Workbooks\, Analyzing Data &amp\; Pivot Charts<br /></stro
 ng>Participants in this class will learn how to keep the data of their Wor
 kbooks secure\, especially when sharing with other collaborators or viewer
 s. This class will also go over data analyzation building upon the charts 
 and graphs knowledge from previous classes. Participants will finish this 
 class learning about Pivot Charts &ndash\; when and how to use them.</p>\n
 <p>Bring your own laptop or device or borrow one of ours.</p>\n<p>No regis
 tration necessary but limited space is available\; patrons will be admitte
 d into the program on a first-come-first-serve basis.</p>\n<p>This is an o
