Everyone should have an opportunity to lea rn about computer science! Coding for fun is an introduction to computer s cience and uses self-led tutorials over the course of one hour. The goal o f the "Hour of Code" tutorials is not to teach everyone to become an exper t in computer science\, but allows everyone to have fun\, improve problem solving skills\, logic\, reading for understanding\, and to be creative. T his builds a great foundation for learning computer languages and how to w rite a code for younger ages. Journey through Minecraft with code! Program is limited to 7participants. \; \;
\nThis program was desi gned for 2nd grade to 6th grade\, but younger children may attend if an ad ult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent\, guardian\, or caregiver whil e in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the progra m. \;
