 rtunities to study the ecology of mammals in a range of habitats including
  southwestern deserts\, tropical forests and savannahs\, and eastern decid
 uous forests. Since moving to eastern Washington her research focused prim
 arily on wildlife habitat relationships and how human activities\, such as
  forest management and habitat restoration\, impact these relationships.</
 p>\n<p>While at EWU\, Peggy enjoyed teaching courses about vertebrates\, c
 onservation\, and wildlife management as well as mentoring undergraduate a
 nd graduate student research. In retirement\, she has continued activities
  with local conservation groups including Spokane Audubon Society\, throug
 h which this lecture is presented.</p>\n<p>the&nbsp\;Spokane Audubon Socie
 ty meets at Shadle Park Library the second Wednesday of every month\, Sept
 ember - May (except Jan-Feb). You are invited to join their monthly events
  to learn about all things related to birds and more! These events are ope
