"Keeping Warm in the Ozarks: Cast Iron Sto ves in the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries" is the February-March inter pretive exhibition in the series Helping to Bring the Humanities to the Pu blic Square\, coordinated by Dr. Billie Follensbee of Missouri State Unive rsity. This exhibition includes cast-iron stove parts excavated at the Bon niebrook Homestead\, which illustrates features of different late 19th and early 20th century stoves for cooking and heating. The exhibition opening reception is during the First Friday Art Walk\, and will feature the pres entation "Researching and Preserving Iron Artifacts" by Missouri State Uni versity alumna Madelyn Pohl. Children's activity sheets will be available throughout the exhibition.
