The purpose of this Impact Lab is for pare nts to understand the value of play at each age of their child&rsquo\;s de velopment and know whether or not their child is on track for kindergarten .

A GBBB (Gwinnett Building Babies Brains) Ambassador will talk ab out how\, when\, and why GBBB was started. The Ambassador will describe ea ch of the following play stations: block\, puzzle\, fine motor\, dramatic play. Parents will be provided with cards for each station that describes what a child should be able to do at each age\, birth to kindergarten. Par ents will be advised to choose a station to take their child to play. A Pa rent Engagement Specialist will be at each station to direct parents and/o r answer questions.

There will also be a GBBB table for parents to visit\, receive postcards\, and take the 10 question survey in the GBBB w ebsite toolkit. An ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) representative will be available for parents who have questions and/or concerns.
