X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p><strong>Artist's Statement</strong> <br />
After years of working in pastel and acrylic\, I now work primarily in col
lage. These works are composed of paper and fabric with a few enhanced by
acrylic paint. A few also have mosaic embellishments. This medium has allo
wed me to escape my tendency to be too detailed and to explore a more emot
ional and tactile dimension of a wide variety of subjects. The unlimited a
vailability of fabrics and paper is exciting and has significantly enhance
d my personal creativity and challenges the limits of my imagination. Howe
ver\, more recently I&rsquo\;ve moved towards alternating collage with wat
ercolor and ink paintings and graphite drawings\, primarily to keep my dra
wing and painting skills fresh. This show features some of these works alo
ng with both chalk and oil pastel.</p>\n<p>Art Education: Pennsylvania Aca

 >\n<p>Community Impact: I am blessed to be able to donate 100% of the proc
eeds of my sales to local nonprofits\, making a difference in the lives of
area residents and the well-being of our natural environment\, which info
rms much of my artwork. This show&rsquo\;s proceeds will benefit the cause
of preserving our beautiful and critical rivers&rsquo\; infrastructure an
d the Great Salt Lake through the Utah Rivers Council.</p>\n<p><strong>Art
